Community Buzz – Office Live Developers, Administrators and Support Teams Take Shape

Semiconductor CrowdI have been chatting with Microsoft Office Live (MOL) community members and there is a strong desire to see an increase in community support and available resources. Community members are looking to gather expertise, combine strengths and create a collective intelligence (no, not the Borg).

Members hope to bring together expertise and create a pool of resources for business users and administrators in an effort to extend the usability of MOL. Additionally, the community is looking to create a single voice and present feature requests, issues and related topics to the attention of Microsoft.

Community members want the business users to have a support forum and common location to find a collection of power users and technology companies in support of MS office live. A place to go for common questions and answers as well as development and advanced topic discussion.

Stay tuned. As more information comes available more will be revealed and I expect this to be the first but not the last post about the growth of the MOL community.

  1. @rstanley - interesting idea! My name is Jake and I work with the OL team on their community efforts. I’ve very intrigued and interested in hearing more about what you’re thinking and how we might be able to help. I’ll drop you a line, or you can use the email in this post to connect to me.

    Thanks!
