Have you ever gone home early thinking “I’ll work on that proposal later” and realized later that you forgot an appendix or perhaps have the wrong version? I have and it usually means going back to the office or heading in early the next day. Bummer!

Well, a new tool released by Microsoft called “Mesh” allows you to sync files between different systems to an online workspace. This means you can share files and folders in between two different systems without having to remember where they are.

The best part of the whole deal is really the ability to remote control your work machine or home machine from anywhere! I signed up for the beta after a friend sent me the link and it has already come in handy more than once. I wonder if this is the small office version of Groove but without the chat capability? Microsoft could really hit a home run if this had MSN chat built-in. Add video conferencing and screen sharing then its game over and I am working from home forever!
